WINNIPEG – Police chief Danny Smyth is ordering a full review after one of his members was caught on video not wearing a face mask.

He says the officer acted inappropriately during the incident.

The video shows the passenger in the vehicle asking the cop why he’s not wearing a mask and that’s when he changed his mind from a warning to a ticket.

The car was stopped for not moving over for an emergency vehicle.

Smyth says there’s a range of punishments, from an admonishment to losing several days of pay.
