WINNIPEG – Little Grand Rapids First Nation in eastern Manitoba has been hit with COVID-19. Multiple people have tested positive, causing officials to elevate the community to red or critical under the province’s pandemic response system.
A news release from the province says people in Little Grad Rapids should only go out to seek testing or medical care and households should send just one person to get necessary supplies when they’re needed.
People who provide essential services can leave their home to go to work.
Public health officials say the people tested positive after attending events at a rec centre late last month.
