WINNIPEG – There are now COVID-19 outbreaks at 16 personal care homes in Manitoba.

The province says 171 residents and 54 workers have tested positive so far, while 26 people have died.

Winnipeg’s Parkview Place is the worst outbreak which has caused 19 deaths. The home has has 117 cases, including 86 seniors.

Yesterday saw record coronavirus numbers, including the highest daily number of cases at 183.
