Cracking Down On Retailers

Manitoba Post StaffNews

WINNIPEG – The province is promising more tickets if retailers don’t follow public health orders.

This after the Costco on Mcgillivray was hit with a $5,000 fine this week for selling non-essential items.

At least one Walmart in Winnipeg was getting creative by letting customers drive-thru the parking lot and pick items from a flyer which would then be delivered to their car.

However, Dr. Brent Roussin says ordering should happen online and not in person. Current COVID-19 rules only allow pickup or delivery of essential items.
