HEADINGLY – Some good Samaritans were threatened after they stopped to help the driver of car that had crashed On February 9, 2020, at 2:10 am.
RCMP responded to the call and found the vehicle in the ditch on the North Perimeter Highway. Witnesses who tried to help him were threatened and officers placed him under arrest.
An initial search of the vehicle led to the seizure of a small quantity of cocaine and two bottles of an anabolic steroid. With the assistance of our Police Dog Services unit, an unloaded 9 mm handgun was also located in the vehicle.
40-year-old Jeffrey William Frame, of Lockport, was arrested and remanded into custody on numerous charges including Possession of a Prohibited Firearm, Possession of a Weapon Contrary to an Order, Possession of a Firearm with Tampered Serial Number, Uttering Threats and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
RCMP Central Traffic Services unit continue to investigate.
