WINNIPEG – A man is dead after being stabbed during an altercation on a Winnipeg Transit bus.

Yesterday afternoon, police were flagged down near Colony Street and Ellice Avenue. They boarded the bus and gave first aid to the stabbing victim who died later in hospital.

46 year old Justin Gabriel James is charged with manslaughter.

The victim has been identified as 57 year old Raymond Wesley Hill.

Investigators say the attack was unprovoked and the men didn’t know each other.
