Deer Visits Retirement Home

Manitoba Post StaffNews

WINNIPEG – RCMP officers spent their morning yesterday removing a deer that got itself trapped inside a Selkirk retirement home.

The animal jumped through a glass door, losing an antler in the process.

Mounties opened another door and used furniture to create a path for the buck to leave. It eventually did but not before visiting the exercise room.

The home was left in a mess and the damage will need to be repaired but at least no one was hurt.
