THOMPSON, MB. – The Thompson RCMP arrest a Manitoba woman who trying to bring drugs through the Thompson Airport.

RCMP said, as Sheila Thorassie, 43, of Sayisi Dene First Nation (Tadoule Lake), was waiting to go through security December 19 at 11:30 AM, she was arrested.

RCMP Officers seized approximately half a pound of prescription pills and a pound of marihuana from her luggage. Thorassie is charged with two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking a Controlled Substance.
