Drug Trafficking Network Shut Down by RCMP

THE PAS – RCMP and the Opaskwayak Cree Nation joined forces to break up a drug trafficking network in the community.

Opaskwayak Cree Nation (OCN), The Pas RCMP, and RCMP K-9 executed a search warrant, July 11th, at a home on Jebbs Drive in OCN. Police seized six grams of cocaine, approximately 550 miscellaneous pills, cash, a rifle, ammunition, and drug paraphernalia.

Dallas Packo, 26-years-old, was arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Careless Use of a Firearms, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose x4.

Candace Packo, 31-years-old, was arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose x4, and Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon x2.
