Drugs and Gangs Unit Takes Down Drug Dealers

WINNIPEG – A search warrant executed by the Guns and Gangs Unit with help from the Tactical Support Team led to the seizure of $20,000 of drugs and cash.

The search warrant was executed at a home on Hector Avenue and a number of individuals were taken into custody as well as the seizure of:

– 56 grams of fentanyl (estimated street value of ($6,000)

– 93 grams of cocaine (estimated street value of $6,500)

– 3 grams of heroin (estimated street value of $1,500)

– 15 grams of methamphetamine (estimated street value of $500)

– Approximately $5,600 in Canadian currency

– A money counter

– Scales

– Packaging materials

– Bear spray

37 year-old Kyle Gordon Nesbitt has been charged with:

– Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl

– Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine

– Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Heroin

– Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine

– Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000

– Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon

– Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order

25 year-old Emeleo Alexander Cole has been charged with:

– Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl

– Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine

– Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Heroin

– Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine

– Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000

– Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon

– Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order

Both were detained in custody.
