Female Arrested for Smuggling Drugs into Stony Mountain on Family Day

STONEWALL, MB. – The Stonewall RCMP arrest a 23-year-old from Winnipeg for smuggling drugs into Stony Mountain Institution.

Last Friday, the 16th of December prisoners at Stony Mountain Institution had a holiday celebration with their families. Working together, RCMP and Corrections Officers became aware that a family member of an inmate was attempting to smuggle drugs into the institution.

Police said they seized a vial of Trenbolone, a vial of Testosterone and 25 grams of Cocaine.

The 23-year-old female from Winnipeg was charged with Trafficking and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.
