Winnipeg, MB. – A female taxi passenger is in critical condition following an early morning accident with a pick-up truck.

The accident happened at the intersection of St. Anne’s Road and Fermor Avenue around 6:00 a.m.

The collision involved a half-ton truck which collided with a taxi cab. A female passenger from the taxi was taken to hospital in critical condition. The male driver of the truck was also taken to hospital, he was in stable condition. Two other occupants of the taxi were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police thank the many citizens who reached out and provided assistance which was invaluable to the investigation.
