WINNIPEG – The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a fire in a multi-family residence on Sutherland Avenue.

When crews arrived around 4:28 p.m. on Sunday they encountered smoke coming from the building. Crews launched an offensive attack, declaring the fire under control at 4:44 p.m. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damages appear to be contained to the suite involved.
