WINNIPEG – Two people were taken to hospital about 9:30 last night when their home in the 800 block of McDermot Avenue caught fire. They were rescued from the burning building by firefighters, along with a dog. All three are going to be okay.

There was also a house fire in the 300 block of College Avenue last night. No one was injured in that blaze.

Both fire are under investigation.
