WINNIPEG – The province has released more details on who will be first to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

People over 60 who work in acute or long-term care homes and intensive care unit staff older than 50 are eligible for the first 900 doses next week. Employees at coronavirus immunizations clinics are also eligible.

If you’re eligible, call 800-MAN-VACC to book an appointment.

The shots will be given from Wednesday to Friday at the University of Manitoba’s Rady Faculty of Health Sciences at 727-McDermot Avenue.

Those who get the shot next week will get their second dose of the vaccine during the first week of January.
