WINNIPEG – The Centennial River Trail at The Forks is now open.

It’s just the first part of the skating trail that’s available to the public, also known as The Forks Port Rink, with more to come.

The trail is extra wide this year to make sure people can physically distance while skating.

The Forks says it plans to add a cross-country ski trail and a winter cycling course this winter to its walking trails and skating rinks.
