WINNIPEG – Police have arrested an arsonist involving a fire in an apartment on Fountain Avenue that resulted in the evacuation of 35 people and hospitalized one victim.

Fire crews responded to the fire on September 5 at about 5 P.M. One resident was taken to the hospital in critical condition due to smoke inhalation.

34 year-old Colt Alexander Guiboche, who is also a resident of the block has been charged with three counts of Arson. He was detained in custody.
