WINNIPEG – Get ready for a FREE weekend at the Zoo. Once again the Assiniboine Park Zoo is offering free admission to children 12 and under from December 22 to January 6. Plus, on Saturday and Sunday the first 50 visitors get a voucher for a ticket for Paw Patrol Live at the Centennial Concert Hall January 3 to 5.

Visitors can also enjoy daily heavy horse Zoo Chats at 11:00 am and heavy horse wagon rides every day between 1:00 and 3:00 pm at the McFeetors Heavy Horse Centre.

The following are holiday hours for all Park and Zoo amenities:

· Assiniboine Park Zoo – Open daily 9 am to 4 pm, Closed Christmas Day

· The Park Café – Open daily from 8 am to 4 pm, Closed Christmas Day

· The Pavilion – Open daily from 9 am to 4 pm, Closed Christmas Day
