WINNIPEG – Thousands of people for over a decade have been talking about what they would do to fix the issues on Route 90 between Taylor and Ness. Now, you can tell the right people.
It’s no secret that Route 90 needs to be upgraded to address current and future traffic volumes, to accommodate new and future redevelopment.
The City is inviting people to view the functional design and provide further input on the widening of Route 90 between Taylor Avenue and Ness Avenue.
Phase 1 of public engagement wrapped up in spring 2018, which included an online survey with over 1,800 responses, a scientific survey, and meetings with the Project Advisory Committee. A functional design was prepared with consideration from the public input collected in Phase 1 of public engagement. You will find the functional design and the Phase 1 Public Engagement Summary Report click here.
The City is now beginning Phase 2 of public engagement to help refine the functional design into a preliminary design.
You can participate in an online survey available on the project website from June 13 to July 30, here.
The City is also hosting two pop-ups at the Outlet Collection Mall.
June 20th – 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
June 28th – 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Location: Outlet Collection Winnipeg
