WINNIPEG – Now that Christmas is over, please don’t throw away your tree.

Yes, you can drop off your real tree at one of several recycling spots around the city including the Brady 4R Winnipeg Depot. Please just make sure it’s free of any decorations, tinsel, stands and plastic tree bags.

Or better yet, take it to Aurora Farm at 4265-Waverley Street where their goats will enjoy eating it now that you’re done looking at it. Clean trees can be added to the pile in the parking lot during the week between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. But because of COVID-19 restrictions, please don’t walk around the farm.
