Guns, Ammunition and Drugs Found in Winnipeg Home

WINNIPEG, MB. – A Winnipeg Police search warrant was executed and lead to the seizure of guns, ammunition, and drugs.

Police and members of the Tactical Unit executed the warrant on January 18, at a home in the 700 block of Stella Avenue.

Police found a number of items including the following;

  • A loaded sawed-off 12-gauge pump action shotgun
  • 2 12-gauge shotgun shells
  • 2 .22 calibre ammunition cartridges
  • .75 grams of methamphetamine (valued at approximately $20)

Police have charged three people, Stuart Bruce Fritzley, a 32-year-old male of Winnipeg, has been charged with:

  1. Possession of a Weapon
  2. Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
  3. Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations
  4. Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Obtained by Crime
  5. Possession of Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order (x4)
  6. Possession of Scheduled Substance – Methamphetamine
  7. Fail to Comply with Probation Order (x2)

Chasity Victoria Faith Gentes, a 24-year-old female of Winnipeg, has been charged with:

  • Possession of a Weapon
  • Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
  • Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations
  • Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Obtained by Crime
  • Possession of Scheduled Substance – Methamphetamine
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order (x2)

and, Michelle Natasha Lerat, a 34-year-old female of Winnipeg, has been charged with:

  • Possession of a Weapon
  • Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
  • Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations
  • Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Obtained by Crime
  • Possession of Scheduled Substance – Methamphetamine
