Guns, Stolen ID Seized in Hotel Arrests.

WINNIPEG – 4 Suspects face over 100 combined charges after they were arrested in a hotel on Niakwa Road.

Police were called to the hotel to check on the well-being of occupants in a room and began knocking on doors to check on the occupants. When they arrived at the suspects door, no one answered but they could hear a gun being manually manipulated.

One of the occupants left the room a short time later and was arrested. The tactical support team and K9 unit arrived and the occupants were ordered out of the room. A man and woman complied and later a third man tried to check out of the hotel and was arrested.

When the room was searched, police found the following items.

12 gauge sawed-off shotgun

Pellet gun with airsoft bullets

Wallet and identification reported lost in 2016

Passport stolen from a break and enter in October 2018

Identification stolen from a vehicle in November 2018

Identification reported lost in January 2019

Mastercard stole on February 28, 2019

Driver’s licence stolen during a commercial break and enter on March 12, 2019

Licence plate from a vehicle reported stolen March 18, 2019

Keys to a Ford Mustang stolen between March 22 – 25, 2019

Identification stolen from a male on March 28, 2019

The stolen Ford Mustang was located outside of the business.

All four adults have been detained at the Winnipeg Remand Centre.
