WINNIPEG – Police were called to the Higgins and Main area on Wednesday evening for a man with a weapon.

A 28 year old faces several charges after two people were chased by a guy with a hammer who also damaged a building and a car.

He then fled on a Winnipeg transit bus but officers arrested a suspect with a hammer a short time later.

It’s believed he was high on meth at the time of the incident.
