WINNIPEG – Betty White turns 99 today.

She says that means she can now stay up as late as she wants without asking for permission.

The Golden Girls actress plans to spend the day feeding a pair of ducks that regularly visit her home in the Los Angeles area.

Her birthday meal will be a hot dog and French fries brought in with a bouquet of roses by her longtime friend and agent Jeff Witjas.
