WINNIPEG – The heat warning continues for much of southern Manitoba including the city of Winnipeg.

Humidex values are expected to approach 40 at times.

Southerly winds are pushing hot and humid weather into southern and east-central Manitoba.

Daytime highs will climb into the low 30’s with overnight lows staying in the upper teens or low 20’s.

The heat will begin to break later the week.
