Hit & Run Sends Man to Hospital in Critical Condition

WINNIPEG – Police are investigating a hit and run that occurred on Friday night just after 8:00PM.

Police said a pedestrian was struck by a car near McDermot Avenue and Sherbrook Street.

The pedestrian taken to hospital in critical condition. The pedestrian is a man between the ages of 30 and 40 years old. Police have not been able to confirm his identity.

The driver of the vehicle did not remain at the scene, however the vehicle was located a few blocks away and the driver has been identified. This investigation is still ongoing, police said they have not laid any charges have not yet.
