‘Holiday Bump’ In Cases

Manitoba Post StaffNews

WINNIPEG – COVID-19 cases in Manitoba are back above 200 a day and the province’s acting deputy health officer, Dr. Jazz Atwal, says it’s a holiday bump after some people got together for Christmas.

It’s only been two weeks since Christmas so the spike in numbers will likely continue to grow.

Officials are expected to extend the current code red restrictions when they expire today.
