Home Sales Recovering

Manitoba Post StaffNews

WINNIPEG – Home sales in the city were solid last month, 24 per cent higher than last June.

Winnipeg Realtors says while sales slipped early in the pandemic, they’re now bouncing back nicely.

In fact, the first half of the year is within one per cent of the five year average.

However, while sales are up, the number of listings is flat when compared to June a year ago.

The average price of a home is up 1.5 per cent to just over $343,000.
