WINNIPEG – The Bridge Drive-in opened for the season on Friday as a drive-thru but closed again two days later after being overwhelmed by traffic. This decision follows backlash from some people in the area who didn’t like the long line of idling cars at peaks times. The ice cream shop on Jubilee Avenue has apologized and is now looking at other options. It hopes to open up soon to walk up customers like normal but with strict social distancing measures in place.
