DEVIL’S LAKE – A 51 year-old man from Nelson House has died as a result of a single vehicle roll-over.

The accident occurred at approximately 8:20 pm, on December 21, 2019 on Highway 6, approximately ten kilometers north of Devils Lake.

The investigation has determined that a SUV, being driven by a 58-year-old female from Nelson House, was heading northbound when it lost control and entered the ditch and rolled. Road conditions were reported to be icy.

The 51-year-old male passenger, also from Nelson House, was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver and passenger were both wearing seatbelts and alcohol is not a factor in the collision.

Grand Rapids RCMP, along with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist, continue to investigate.
