BRANDON, MB – Brandon Police were waved down by a highly intoxicated man who, turns out, was in breach orders not to consume alcohol.

Police said they were waved down by a highly intoxicated many around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday in the 800 Block of Princess Avenue. The man was found to be on two Recognizance Orders, both with conditions to abstain from consuming alcohol. The 48-year-old man was arrested.

Later that morning, police responded to a report of a disturbance in an apartment in the 400 Block of 12th Street around 5 AM. A male and female were found in the apartment and police learned the man was on a Probation Order with conditions to have no contact or communication with the woman and not attend the home. The 39-year-old man from Brandon was arrested for Breach of Probation X 2 and due to his intoxication was held at the Brandon Correctional Center to be released when sober.
