WINNIPEG, MB. – Meet 15 year old juggler Jonathan Teakle. Many of you have likely seen Jonny at some point in the last 5 years. He has been a regular busker at the Forks, has performed at numerous festivals, parties, and corporate events – and in the last year he has teamed up with his super talented siblings (younger brother Jacob and older sister Sarah) to form the “Teakle Family Circus” which provides a full 30 minute stage show and also kids workshops.

On December 15th, Jonathan competed in the the World Juggling Federation’s 13th Annual competition in Las Vegas. He is the first ever Canadian to win GOLD in the Junior Overall Championship!

Jonathan started juggling when he was 10 years old at the first meeting of the Winnipeg Circus Club. In the past 5 years, with the help of local professional juggler and coach Robin Chestnut, Jonny has become one of the top technical jugglers in all of Canada (regardless of age) and is in the top tier of jugglers worldwide.
