WINNIPEG – It’s a day off in the Stanley Cup Playoffs but it’s a big day for a handful of teams including our Jets.

The Jets are one of eight clubs in the running for the top draft pick after being bumped from competition in Edmonton.

Each team has a 12.5 percent chance of picking first and likely taking forward Alexis Lafreniere.

The announcement is expected at five o’clock Winnipeg time this afternoon.
