WINNIPEG, MB – Justus Alleyn of the Manitoba Bison’s men’s basketball team was selected to play for Team Canada at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games this April.

“I’m really excited for the opportunity to represent Canada and the University of Manitoba on the international stage again,” commented Alleyn. “Can’t wait to get to Australia and start training with the team!”

Alleyn, 22, had his best season statistically as he captured Canada West conference men’s basketball scoring title with 24.1 points per game and became the first Bison to accomplish this feat in conference men’s basketball regular season.
