WINNIPEG – According to the La Poutine Week website, There are 106 local participants this year, including this brightly coloured entry from St. James Burger. The Rainbow Poutine is made with vibrant Bothwell cheese curds, a vegetarian garlic cream gravy and award-winning fries with sea salt. It comes with a price tag of $14 but $1 of that goes to the Rainbow Resource Centre.
Last year’s winner, Fionn MacCool’s Crossroads, is back with a new creation. Shepherd’s Pie-Tine also features Bothwell curds and it sells for $16.
