WINNIPEG, MB – RCMP responded to a fatal snowmobile collision yesterday just before noon on Snowman Trail #216, approximately 10 kilometres northeast of Pinawa.

Police said a 55-year-old man, from Lac Du Bonnet, was travelling west on the trail when he failed to negotiate a corner and collided with a tree. He was pronounced dead on scene.

RCMP said the man was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.

The investigation continues.
