WINNIPEG – Meet four year old Lincoln. He has a severe form of Cystic Fibrosis. But Lincoln still helps with daily chores on the family farm near Anola including feeding his miniature horse Hercules. And his dad says he always gets those chores lickety split.Lincoln has a dream to travel across Canada with his family in their RV when it’s safe to do so.
The Dream Factory, Bridge Drive-In and St-Leon Gardens have joined forces to help make that happen.
Lincoln’s Lickety Split is now being sold at the BDI and all the proceeds will go towward helping Lincoln and his family take that trip.
This new dessert will be available all summer long and it’s also available in a cup or cone.
The Lickety Split begins with a base of delicious strawberry ice cream made from fresh, local St-Leon strawberries. It’s topped with Manitoba saskatoons, blueberries, more strawberries, a banana and whipped cream.
