Local Light Shows

Manitoba Post StaffNews

WINNIPEG – This week can be boring, especially in the middle of a pandemic, so if you’re looking for something to do, there are several local light shows you might want to check out.

There are many maps available online with directions to the best private Christmas displays around town. Click here for our Linden Lights story earlier this month.

Due to overwhelming support, Winter Wonderland at Red River Exhibition Park has been extended to January 9th. The lights are on nightly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

And then new this year, beautiful lights have been added to the glass around the Canadian Museum of Human Rights at The Forks for a nightly show inspired by the Northern Lights. The lights go on at dusk until January 9th, with a special New Year’s Eve show on Thursday night.
