WINNIPEG – A large warehouse fire at a modular show home lot in Headingley was called in just before 4:45 Thursday afternoon.

Witnesses say firefighters had trouble opening a nearby hydrant in the severe cold but no injuries are being reported.

No cause or damage estimate yet.

Several motorists passing along the Trans-Canada Highway captured footage of the blaze.
