Man Assaults Two Women with a Fire Extinguisher in Flin FLon

WINNIPEG, MB. – The Flin Flon RCMP arrested a man who used fire extinguisher on an female employee.

Police said on Monday January 22, they found a female employee at a business on Hapnot Street in Flin Flon. The woman had been sprayed in the face with a fire extinguisher by a man who was stealing a bottle of liquor.

While RCMP were speaking with the victim, a new report came in from a nearby business on Main Street. There another female employee was sprayed in the face with a fire extinguisher by a man who then stole cigarettes.

Neither of victims were not injured.

An investigation lead police to a home in Flin Flon where they arrested Darnell Custer, 19-years-old, from Denare Beach, SK. He is charged with Robbery x2, Mischief, Theft Under $5000, Assault with a Weapon x2, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and Fail to Comply with Probation x6.
