WINNIPEG – A man police discovered badly beaten on Monday afternoon has dies in hospital.

Police said they responded to a report around 4:00PM of a man that had been assaulted in the railway underpass on McPhillips Street near Logan Avenue. The man was taken to hospital where he died from his injuries.

Police are providing any further information at this time.
