WINNIPEG – A 20 year-old woman has been charged with aggravated assault after stabbing a man during a party.

Both the victim and the suspect were drinking at a home on Magnus Avenue at about 6:00 pm on April 15. The victim began fighting with several people including the suspect and at some point she stabbed him. He was taken to the hospital in unstable condition and remains there at this time.

20 year-old Donna Karen Kakegamic has been charged with aggravated assault.

She was detained in custody.
