WINNIPEG – Manitoba’s new NDP government will table its initial budget on Tuesday, April 2nd.

Premier Wab Kinew says his first financial plan since winning power last October will include major investments to bring quality health care closer to communities and increase capacity and staffing across the province.

He also says the 2024-25 budget will create new measures to lower costs and grow Manitoba’s diversified low-carbon economy.

The federal budget will be made public in Ottawa two weeks later on Tuesday, April 16th.
