WINNIPEG – The Manitoba government says a long-awaited personal care home in Lac Du Bonnet should be open in 2027.

Funding was announced on Thursday for the 95 bed home, with construction to start soon.

Previous governments promised to build the facility but the new NDP government put the project under review after winning last October’s provincial election.
