Manitoba Moose Win Ninth Straight

WINNIPEG, MB. – Nic Petan had a goal and two assists while Michael Hutchinson had a 27-save shutout as the Manitoba Moose just kept on winning.

Saturday night at Bell MTS Centre, the Moose beat the visiting Cleveland Monsters 4-0 to win their ninth straight game, one shy of the franchise record. The Mose are now 17-5-1-1 on the season, first in the Central Division by nine points and tied for first overall in the American Hockey League with the Toronto Marlies.

Playing in front of a crowd of 5,161 on home ice, Julian Melchiori, Jack Roslovic and Michael Spacek scored the other Moose goals. Spacek finished with a goal and an assist while Sami Niku had two assists.

The Moose play again this coming Saturday afternoon, Dec. 9, against the visiting Milwaukee Admirals at Bell MTS Place.
