WINNIPEG, MB. – The Manitoba Moose won their sixth straight game at home last night in front of 5, 555 fans.

The Moose were on the board first thanks to a goal by Brendan Lemieux, at the 9:10 mark. The Moose added to their lead four minutes later when Mason Appleton scored. Michael Hutchinson didn’t have much action but stop all six shots he had in the first period.
San Antonio turned up the heat in the second period. Hutchinson made 19 saves as the Rampage put 20 shots on goal in the second as San Antonio scored on the power play with 1:05 left.
The third period was busy for both goaltenders. Hutchinson made 11 stops for the Moose while Spencer Martin made 12 to keep a close game. The Moose sew things up when Mason Appleton scored into an empty net and win their sixth game in a row.
