WINNIPEG – Downtown Winnipeg Biz is very happy with the results of this years ManyFest.

Officials say tens of thousands enjoyed the food and festivities on display in the shadow of the Manitoba Legislature.

A Ferris wheel and midway rides were the backdrop for 41 food trucks offering every culinary delight one could possibly imagine. Third + Bird curated the market this year ensuring Manitobans had access to some to the best products on offer from 55 local artisans and entrepreneurs.

This year ManyFest teamed up with the Winnipeg Folk Festival Young Performers Program who provided a diverse selection of live music throughout the weekend.

“One of the game changing features of this year’s event was that the grounds were fully licensed meaning people could buy a beer or glass of wine at Lake of the Woods Brewing and wander the festival with their drinks. Manitobans keep asking for more from this event and 8 years in we are still focused on making it better each year,” said Downtown Winnipeg BIZ CEO Stefano Grande.

The main event of course, 41 food trucks involved in Food Truck Wars. Here are some of the special honours handed out:

  • Most Original – Tot Wheels
