WINNIPEG – Maple Leaf Foods has handed out tens of thousands of face masks in Brandon.

Meantime, the company says it’s temporarily suspended pork exports to China because a few dozen of its Brandon workers have tested positive for COVID-19.

Maple Leaf says the move was voluntary after the Chinese adopted new protocols that require Canadian processors to report cases of coronavirus.
