WINNIPEG – Today is the two year anniversary of the disappearance of Eduardo Balaquit.

Police continue to investigate but they believe he was a victim of crime soon after arriving at work that evening at a business in the 300 block of Keewatin Street.

Officers continue to seek information about a blue 2010-2015 Ford Escape SE thought to be involved. It’s believed the vehicle traveled to Arborg after Eduardo went missing.

Investigators think evidence may still be uncovered in the Arborg area or somewhere between there and Winnipeg. The public is asked to keep an eye out for any unusual items that may seem insignificant.

Eduardo’s family says “It’s been a long and difficult two years. Our only wish is for our dad to walk through our doors and finally say, ‘I’m home.’ It’s never too late to do the right thing, if you have any information, please help us bring him home.”
