WINNIPEG – Just over a week ago, police in Brandon reported the seizure of 3.5 million illegal cigarettes and the arrest of four people.

Since then, three more search warrants have been executed and another 560,000 contraband smokes have been seized.

The new searches also netted a large quantity of stolen power tools.

Two of the original suspects now face additional charges.
